This year is Fallon’s 100th Anniversary and we are celebrating the Centennial with new events, community activities, and collectables. This is going to be a great year to live in Fallon, do business in Fallon, and visit Fallon!

Very soon, you’ll be able to log onto this website to get the latest news on Centennial happenings.

One of the more ambitious Centennial projects is a new event called Octane Fest, a week-long series of motor sports events June 10-15, 2008. Octane Fest will feature NHRA regional drag racing action at Top Gun Raceway, oval dirt track racing at Rattlesnake Raceway, an off-road race, show ‘n’ shine car show & poker run, concerts, a Festival Central with vendors, food, NASCAR simulators, Monster Trucks, and more, and a Boys & Girls Club fundraiser dinner featuring Supercross legend Jeremy McGrath.
